A Little more about Tyle G's Legacy.......
Tyler G's Legacy is being set up in Aid of Tyler Glover who was sadly diagnosed with ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy) at the young age of 6 and half. Within a devastingly short period of 6 months, Tyler, a happy, healthy little boy, was left in a vegative state and lost the ability to walk, talk, eat aswell as losing his sight and hearing. Throughout all this Tyler has shown nothing but courage and determination to not let this condition beat him.
There is no cure for the condition but if caught in time there are treatments available to slow the condition down. Sadly for Tyler time was not on his side. However, Tylers G's Legacy is being set up to fight & fundraise for more awareness and early diagnoses of ALD and to provide support for ALL complex need conditions for children and their families throughtout the Borough of Bexley & surrounding areas.
Details will be added to this page once we have confirmation of events & dates

What is ALD?
ALD (adrenoleukodystrophy) is a deadly genetic disease affecting 1 in 18,000 people, most severely affecting boys & men. The brain disorder destroys the myelin, the protective sheath that surrounds the brain neurons- the nerve cells that allow us to think & control our muscles. The most devastating form of ALD appears in childhood (between 4-10) causing normal helath boys to begin to suddenly regress at first displaying signs of behavioural problems, and as the disease ravages their little brains their symptons worsen including, deafness, blindness, loss of muscle control and progressive dementia.
